How do I remove the write-protection from a micro SD card?

I'm trying to copy an image from my PC onto the micro SD card that I use in my new camera cell phone. I removed the card from the phone and I'm using a USB card reader/writer to do this. The idea is to use the image for the background etc. I have the same problem with trying to copy MP3s onto the card to use on the cell phone's MP3 player.

I can get data off the card with my PC but I can't add anything to the card. HELP?! Thanks.

I think I got it. There's a little switch on the side of the adapter card that says "lock". I flipped it off. Works fine now.

SD stands for "Secure Digital". You just discovered the secret of the "Secure" part.....
