I own many HK's myself and I saw that thread on the forum earlier. It really makes me sick when people just bash brands. I don't like it when Glock guys bash HK's or HK guys bash Glocks or any other brand for that matter.

Sure there are some guns out here that are junk. But to my mind, Glocks, HK's, Sigs and many others don't qualify. Look at any thread that compares brands. You'll get multiple differing opinions every time which only validates the error of trying to push one line of thinking on everyone Ex: "HK's are overpriced" in one sentence to "HK makes the best plastic pistol available" that next. There is no universal gun that fits and satisfies everyone. While it makes for fun internet chatter, it's really just BS. Buy what you like, shoot what you like.

I thought about joining in but it's not worth it. They'll drag you down to that level and beat you with experience. I'm not saying all members on that forumn are like that but every forum seems to have a jackass that thinks he knows everything about everything. Just the way it is :dunno:

The only bashing I'll do with a Hi-point is over my dumb-ass buddy's head. NIB .45, It was a lot of work just to empty the first magazine.

Every make of every model of gun has gotten SOMEBODY's job done or saved one's own bacon.

I don't know, that OP did fire 7.62 NATO double taps! Can't say I've seen anyone manage that with a Glock or HK pistol....and yet he somehow managed to do it

Every brand has it's message board fanbois and koolaid drinkers... Glock fanaticism is probably the worst. With that said, I am a Glock guy, first and foremost. However, if given the ultimatum of choosing any of my Glocks to carry vs. my HK P7, it would be a pretty tough choice.

edit: I need to clarify... there is no way I'd choose a plastic HK over a Glock. The *only* HK I'd give deference to is the P7 series.

 Thats why I like GT. Even most of the Glock cool-aid drinkers here are not that hardcore.

I think the HK crowd snorts the cool-aid right out of the package.

I love that the guy calls himself the Hk ninja and qoutes himself in his signature line. All in all though I got some good laughs out of that thread.

I used to be under the impression that HK was superior to Glock in every way. That is until I shot one, not that impressed.
