I just picked up a sig P229 SCT 9mm for 600$ It is a CPO or Certified Pre-Owned, but the gun was never fired, in fact Sig used the gun at a gun show for display. I think that was a good buy considering the lowest I found it for at a gunshop was 949$[IMG]

Nice. The P229 was my first handgun. Still really like it but the DA/SA is the spawn of Satan. Too bad I can't convert it to DAK.

I picked up my 92FS the same way, CPO, but never fired.

    Saved about $200.

Great pickup indeed. I never noticed serrations on the front of the slide of the 229...good stuff. Nice looking gun. Enjoy!

The DA/SA on my 226 isn't bad, just takes practice. Its got a little creep, but other than that its fine. I know if I want to make it even better all I have to do is send it to grayguns and it will be peachy after that.

Nice! My OTD price was $930 for brand new. But I would have jumped on your deal if it were presented to me.

    I love my SCT.

    Came with four mags, right?

Congrats , CPO's are a great deal when found. I picked up my CPO-P220r/DAK last summer for $529 OtD and it came with n/s and 2 8rd mags. It's one helluva shooter.

where did you happen upon this great sig? I have trouble finding CPO Sig's in small gunshops, do major chains tend to carry them more often?

Congrats on the Sig....now you have me eying a SCT.
