Well, I cooked a tiny blob to test the seasoning and I was shocked that I nailed it,
    and how good it was...

I always wondered about ground lamb and yesterday I stumbled into a superstore called
Wild Oats... Kinda like a 'Fresh Market'...

Insane stuff... 400 types of cheeses... Everything!

But I bought a pound and a half of ground lamb... $5.99 a pound...

I tossed it in a big bowl...

In my spice grinder I tossed what I thought would turn into 2 teaspoons of fresh Rosemary,
2 teaspoons of whole Black Pepper, and 2 teaspoons of kosher salt...
I buzzed it into a blended, fragrant, powder...

I emptied the spice mix on to the meat...

I added a tablespoon of lemon juice, and using a microplane grater, the zest from that lemon...

I squirted 2 tablespoons of Guldens Spicy Brown...

    One medium onion diced small...

    Mixed it all up...

Formed 6 patties 1" thick and sautéed them in a hot pan (grill would been better) till crusty
    on each side...
I let them rest with foil to delicately cook to the center while remaining juicy...

    Wow...

At farm, where I used to get mine from the lady said she used blue cheese with her burgers.

The lamb was very good but Very expensive.

Now I get it at Costco and it is reasonably priced but just good.
