Just picked up a Gen 4 G19 today with a born on date of 1/15/13!
Congrats in the G19.
Well it's not been sitting around for long, these days I wouldn't think so, Congrats. SJ 40
Sweet, can't beat the G19.
That's what I thought too, but I've bought 7 G19's in the last 2 months and all of them were test fired @ Glock between Aug and Oct of 2012 except for this one Gen4 that was test fired on 1/15/13.
Congrats! Just curious, when did you order your G19?
I didn't. LGS had in stock.
So it went through a distributor on top.
These days everyone is pushing Glocks out the door to the consumer!
Bet you the LGS got this the same day you bought it!
How much did you pay if you don't mind asking?
Too much! Never thought I'd spend $649 for a new Glock! I used to get Glocks for $399 and have even paid less than that with GSSF certificate.
I guess I'll be the one to ask. I'll preface by saying, I have quite a few glocks. In fact, I have 3 G19s of different flavors, but what made you get 7?
Well, I already had a couple, so there's actually 9 of them right now....but I have 7 in my family, and I just decided it made sense to all shoot the same gun and ammo, especially in a SHTF situation. Stocking up on a butt load of 9mm and G19 mags. You may ask why G19s instead of some other make or model? I just think it's very hard to beat the G19 and what it offers in terms of reliability, accuracy, capacity, concealability, not to mention it's long proven track record.
AND...every one in the family shoots it well!
Congrats on the new gun! Less than a month old BRAND NEW GUN!!!
Hard to beat a G19, congrats on the new Gen4 and the whole herd! I wouldn't mind picking up a gen 4 myself.
Congrats on your new 19.
This is good news to me as I have an order in at Glockmeister for a Gen 3 19 that I placed on Jan 15th.
Congrats, I'm getting a Glock 19c myself.
