I think it would be sweet to download a custom order form, fax it in and get your custom GLOCK in a month or do. Here is how I vision it-

    - Caliber _____

    - Lower Color (choose Black, OD or Desert Tan) ______

    - Finger Grooves (Yes or No) _________

    - Slide Seriations (Standard or Fishgill) ___________

    - Compensated Slide (Yes or No) ____________

    - Grips- (Gen 3 or RTF2) ______________

    - Adjustable Back Strap (Yes or No) _____________

    - Night Sights (Yes or No) _______________

Fax that in and it comes to you or your dealer. Sound good?

Sounds good, but it would probably increase the price a good deal.

I can't see Glock ever doing that, though.

I figured on the cost. But if they pre-made a lot of the lowers, couldnt they assemble atleast one pistol a day?

At least frame color, caliber, grip (including backstraps in RTF3), sights, and regular or compensated slide/barrel.

I think finger grooves may be a little too much.

i was in a gun store in colorado springs last week where there was a line of glock boxes for the special forces guys at ft. carson. they get their names engraved on their weapon from the Glock factory. one of the perks of being special forces.

Oh sweet! Do you remember what caliber by chance?

As for the finger groves, that would be huge for me, I love my G17 and 19, but would pass on the finger grooves.

Seriously doubt it will ever happen. It would be a nightmare trying to get all 3 serial numbers to match.

Why!! Other than a change of sights and a fluff and buff, a Glock is great defensive weapon right out of the box!!!

I am sorry, I will go fix it.

I thought about that too. I am sure there has to be a post production easy way to pull that off.

Question- If they did this, would it effect the value of regular Glocks already out in population? Value go up or down?

I ask this because on the flip side of the coin, no current Glocks with no finger grooves keeps the 2nd Generations more valuable. Maybe Gaston was way ahead of us on this one?

    For sure.
