I was thinking it would totally rock if GSSF gave lifetime memberships as one possible prize.

What would be a cool prize would be a seat at Armorers School.

    how about,

certificates for complete lowers (would be handled the same as a pistol award with the FFL, etc, but would be a nice thing for anyone with a 2nd gen wanting to upgrade to FG/Rail, etc),

certificates for complete slides (for anyone wanting to change calibers on an existing gun or get a G35 slide for his G22)

certificates good for a Glock tactical light/laser combo

certificates for pistol barrels, (10 mm 6" barrels, or unported barrels for C model owners, or 40 cal or 357 sig barrels for the 22/23/27/31/32/32

certificate for free mags (possibly a certificate for two standard mags or one G18 mag?), or cert's for glock field knives, entrenching tools, night sights, free slide refinishing, whatever.....

certificates good for a 3.5 connector, and extended slide and mag release combo package to be installed at the next GSSF match (all 3 together probably costs Glock less than a buck)

I wouldnt mind if they changed it up a bit, and substituting merchandise for cash awards might be a way to help their bottom line, (although administrative issues might become unwieldy with too many non cash prizes)

another thing they could do is to give away GlockBux that are good for use on the team glock website (or something)

When all is said and done it doesnt matter what they do, prize or no prize, Im gonna be the guy who is having fun!

All that I ask is that nobody takes any photo's or (audio or video) recordings of me doing karaoke at the saturday night get together.
