I ran the program that was designed to stop it in IL this year. I don't think for a second we got it all, but it was much better this year than in many past elections.
I think population density and demographics have something to do with it.
It's sort of like in my State, where one county determines for the rest of us that we get a leftist twat for senator.
What does the link have to do with voter fraud?
How three counties determined an election
Really? You aren't referring to the exit polling as your bases for possible fraud?
Poor Illinoisians......If not for Chicago, they could have a normal state.
Do you have any idea what happened with the absentee ballots? Particularly the military?
Well there were around 34 counties that held on to military absentee ballots longer than statue allows them. One county for almost 2 weeks, when the DOJ came in with a consent decree, it allowed those voters an extra 2 days to return their ballots.
Here is a story I worked on that covers it pretty well:http://biggovernment.com/capitolconfidential/2010/10/15/exclusive-illinois-elections-officials-caught-lying-about-military-ballots/
Wow, didn't realize the election was that close.
We have fought it for years, but its a losing battle I am afraid. I have always insisted that I would not move away, just keep up the fight. I have no desire to leave all of my family behind to move away for more gun freedom. I have a nice collection of firearms. No we cannot have FA or NFA items, but we can have everything else. My grandma is currently closing in on twilight, and I think that when she is gone my parents were thinking about moving. They asked if we would put some thought into it, as we could all move together somewhere and start there. They had a few places in mind, as they are financially able to, and my dad has standing job offers in those locations. I hate to say it, but I think we will make the move when the time comes, as it doesnt look like anything will ever change here in IL.
Aint that the truth. The stench of hippie-******* is quite potent in King and Pierce counties.
You do know that both Phil Hare and Melissa Bean both got knocked off and Deanna Demuzio got beat by a great young guy? I won several close races this year in IL, it was one of the best election years you all have had in a long time.
I would never live there, but it is getting better.
When Chicago votes, voter fraud is part of the process. When East St. Louis votes, voter fraud is part of the process. They are both a cancer on the State.
Yes, I campaigned for the people that beat Phil Hare and Deanna Demuzio. I live in Litchfield, right in the area of those districts. Those are huge wins. But we still have another four years of a governer who has insisted he will veto any and all pro gun legislation and sign any gun control bills that come his way. Its the same thing its always been.
I applaud you for keeping up the fight. With recent Supreme Court decisions and so many other states having concealed carry, maybe things will one day turn around there.
I, too, live where my family lives. Good Luck, whichever direction you take.
Did you happen to attend any poll watcher trainings in Carlinville or Quincy?
Democrats = fraud
No, I wasnt able to do that. I am disabled and cant get out much. I did a lot of phone calling and driving around my wife and son to hand out fliers this time around. I made it to several fundraisers though, and a few meet and greets in the Litchfield area. Hopefully next time around my physical condition will have improved enough to let me do more as far as poll watching and whatnot. I would also like to do more door to door stuff. I felt that I did all I could though.
I have done more for candidates in the past, but not this time around.
