would this be an unreasonable trade?

i have 6 bricks of federal .22 bulk ammo, and 4 boxes of remington .30-06 core-lokt. i no longer have a rifle in either of those calibers, and have no real desire for a gun in those calibers in the near future. i do, however, need a single shot .410.

now i'm not asking for a trade here, i'm just asking if that ammo would be a fair trade for a used single shot .410?

    the way i see it...

    .22 ammo = $15 a brick, x6 = $90
    .30-06 ammo = 15 a box, x4 = $60

    total, $150.

so if i offered someone this in a trade for a single shot .410 shotgun, would that be fair?

again, i'm not advertising or anything. just asking about the fairness of a deal.

Sounds fair to me. If anything, your ammo values are a little low, especially the .30-06.

+1... It's fair, but your values seem a bit low to me as well.

Your ammo is worth more than that.

Your ammo would be worth $200 here... I bought a pawn shop H&R 12ga for $75.

I think it's a fair trade and if you were local I'd trade you my bolt action single shot .410 for it.

But shipping would kill the deal for both of us.

Your ammo prices are too low and $150 seems a little high on a single shot 410. You should be able to pick a used one up for around $100

If you are not going to take the time to sell the ammo, then yes, it is a good trade. But you might be better off to attempt to sell the ammo, then you could even buy new one of those 410/.22 over/under jobs.
