My buddy is having a baby and they are talking baby names. But what name will scar/haunt a kid for the rest of their lives. If they try the 2 name Bobbi Jo or David Allen the initials will make it too easy. If they go with Denzel or Halle, I think they are setting the kid up for failure .

    Any thoughts

    Know a girl named whose initial spell A -S - S.

I know a guy whose last name is Manus. His middle name is Harry. I never could get past Harry Manus to remember his first name.

Can't remember the other funny names I've come across.

Last names are funnier, sometimes- in my time, I have come across these last names:

    Beverage
    Greathead
Goodenough (he was a fellow Marine, he must have had it rough in boot camp)
U (literally, the letter U was the last name.)

You mean like when Hillary Clinton's parents named her after Sir Edmund Hillary almost 6 years before he became famous?

    Or L-A (LaDashAh)

A friend of mine has a habit of choosing the most ****ed up names anyone could think of for a baby. I'd hate to be one of those kids growing up.

I won't mention the name of one kid (which is sad enough as it is), but to make matters worse, his initials are KKK. No, they're not racists. They just put too much emotion and not enough common sense into their choices.

I'd advise against naming a boy Sue..... :whistling:

Really though, I think it's pretty bad when people name their girls things like Porche, Mercedes, etc.

Which reminds me, never give them names that you would hear in a strip club.

As far as last names go, Boehner has to be one of the worst. At least they decided to pronounce it 'bayner'.
