Did anyone else watch this tonight? Snipers: Inside the Crosshairs On the History Channel. It will be on again tomorrow at 12:00 AM. It showed White Feather vs The Cobra (Gunny Haithcock) also the longest shot by Robert Furlong and everything in between. They also show another marksman trying to duplicate the shots. It is well worth the time to watch this one.
I recorded it when it was on a couple of weeks ago. I thought the guys from the Viet Nam era were amazing. One of the guys was a little creepy the way he would simulate pulling the trigger. But I guess that goes with the territory. I'm glad we have some of the best in our service today, those guys saved a lot of our friends lives.
Furlong is amazing. I think we figured out his shot was something like 12 plus FURLONGS when we were talking about it before.....
