It lost.....that's it for today
Never been to a casino, and have no plans to ever go to one.
I do however buy the ocaissional scratch off ticket and somehow manage to stay at least even.
I picked this one up a few days ago, cashed it in, and immediately p1$$ed it away on a 1983 Model 60 no dash Pre-Lock in unfired condition. I got $150- in change back from the $500- In TN you only pay tax on 600 or over winnings.
Other than that, I don't play games with my money! I wouldn't bet you that an elephant was heavy!
Ni e hit and freakin sweet gun.........won money is so much better than earned money
How much was the ticket?........cost wise
And what is "ticket?" You win another ticket?
Some of us seem to be enjoying OP's tales of skin-of-the-teeth financial choices such as indulging in gambling and alcohol while waiting for a paycheck to pay the rent and overdrawing a bank account (in another thread).
We are almost encouraging these choices. I had enjoyed these threads, but I'm out.
Pimpin ain't easy....
The best way to beat the house is to walk in the casino and act like its all new, the dazzling lights, the noise. Look around, look amazed. They are watching for newbies on the cameras. Sit down at the blackjack table. They'll let you win a couple of hundred before they hook you into a loss. Quit when you make the 2-300 bucks.
You would be amazed at the amount of folks that will sit there and think "one more hand and I'll at least be even"
Best of luck to you, Brother Von Hayes
...thank you brother
.....i.....I cant stop posting.......
The ticket was 5 bucks. I hit all numbers but the 29 (free ticket), and the 14 (30 bucks).
The rest totalled 500 bucks. And yes, nothing like a free revolver, I crap you negative!
I have to admit that I too live vicariously through @Von Hayes ' threads.
It's like watching a wreck at Daytona in slow motion.
We went last night and ate, I think my wife won $90
