Dumbass. Driving under the influence and shooting at kids? He should expect some prison time.

My youth was spent throwing snowballs at cars, dump trucks, and the best targets were the highway dept. plow trucks. I guess we never pissed off the wrong guy.

There's always gonna be a bigger A-hole. So if you start down that road, don't be surprised if things get lively.

My Dad, Mom, sister and I were driving along after a heavy Chicago snowfall. I was about 7 or 8 years old. Some kids hit our car with snowballs and one of them had rocks in it. It made a Hxll of a racket when it hit the rear window on the drivers side. Dad stopped the car, opened the door and gave chase.

The kid took off across a vacant lot with Dad in hot pursuit. I'll never forget seeing my Dad in suit, tie, long overcoat and a Dick Tracy hat running after that kid in the snow covered field! Dad caught the kid, tossed him on the ground, and "washed his face" with snow (a real downer in snow country). Dad let the kid up, walked back to the car and we drove off.

I remember a particularly awesome snowball throw in Tiffin ohio probably 1974 I was throwing at cars with friends when a guy drove by smoking with the window open I had a perfect throw and it went in the open window, ht him in the face , he locked it up , slid off the road and came for use chasing us through a cemetery in what I thought was a ford pickup, he finally got stuck and started chasing us on foot but we lost him. I did not throw anymore snowballs at cars that day.

One thing is sure, good or bad.

I bet kids in that neighborhood think twice before snowballing cars....

Not saying the driver was right but all education is beneficial, in some way.

    Funny thing about pranks.

Had it been me getting the face washing, I was a feisty snot. I'd give the old man a few paces, then pelt him in the head with a snowball!

I grew up in Wisconsin. We spent our youth throwing snowballs at cars. I absolutely ruined my throwing arm standing behind a stone wall at the Methodist church. My town had 800 people in it - we made our own entertainment. Hitting cops was a big deal. Blasting a State Patrol car was the max - those dudes with the Smokey Bear hats really got upset.

My little brother bombed one once. The Trooper drove all over town looking for the suspect. My brother holed up in the local two-room library. When he though the coast was clear he started home - the State Patrol came by and my brother hit him again!

In the fall we'd throw apples. We made slings (David vs. Golilath) out of long boot laces and deer hide. With practice you could throw a rock (or apple) an unbelievable distance. We'd let the car get past our position and then throw the apple from behind them. WHACK! Man that used to really piss people off!!! Lots of threats - especially from young guys with their dates along. There was a dance hall in the little town. People would come from long distances. That dance hall booked bands out of the Twin Cities that had number one Top 40 hits. Those young drivers would have killed us if they had caught us. But nobody shot at us.

We finally grew up - sort of. When we could drive we always made a big deal out of getting hit with a snowball - stop and threaten the kids. It made good times for the kids doing throwing.

As for DUI in Wisconsin - back then the instrument clusters on cars had beer counters - not odometers. Ex: It took 2 beers to get from our little town to the next one down the line.

That was a bit of an overreaction.

I could say more, but must refrain from crossing major lines.

Well I grew up in the 50s in Rockford, Illinois. We lived on 11th Street, although outside the city limits it was Highway 51 which runs from Deluth, Minnesota to New Orleans. Lots of 18 wheelers headed south which was our side to throw snowballs. We only threw at the big box 18 wheelers, and the contest was to see how many times we could hit the truck before it passed. Drivers got a little po'd but we didn't damage the truck, well not a whole lot, maybe a dent or two.

I would like to hear what the Judge tells him before he sends him to his new home.
Too bad someone else didn't stop and put him down for good
