I hate this time of year here in UT. The holidays are over (such a let down), it's very cold, it's dark outside at 5:30 p.m., the snow on the ground around here is dirty unless you're in the mountains, and the inversion here in the Salt Lake valley creates a nasty, smoggy air quality problem that makes it so you hardly ever see the sun it's so thick in the air. I'm not a skier or snow boarder and snow shoeing is totally mind numbing boring -- tried it last week. I don't suffer (at least I don't think so) from seasonal depression, but the whole situation does get me down. I'd go crazy living in Alaska. Any one else like this right now?
