Pinball doesn't work on my machine for some reason. I went to the Windows community and I've seen the problem listed but no one had a solution for it. I have a Dell 8200. The game flashes up, but then never starts. Anyone here have any ideas?

    Try this:

Start – Settings – Control panel – Add remove programs – Add/remove Windows Components
Select Accessories and Click on Details. Uncheck Games and Chick on Next. That should uninstall the games.

Then go back and reinstall the games using the same instructions, but instead of unchecking games, check the box and let windows “reinstall” the games. If that won’t help, I can post the pinball exe and you can try overwriting your old one.

I fixed it. Turns out most of the files in that directory were missing somehow.
