    Hi guys,

    I have a Latitude D800 running Windows XP SP2. Everything works well except for one unusual item.

    In Outlook 2003 on the opening window Outlook Today I can choose 2 options that give me display problems:

    Tools-> Email Accounts

    or

    Tools-> Options

    Both will give me an unsizable and unscrollable window where the information on the right side is not viewable. The window is active and I can click to view email accounts, etc., but I can't scroll or see the right portion of the window. It almost looks as though the fonts are too large. However, every other window in Outlook and on the systems works fine.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    go to www.nvidia.coma and download the latest Nvidia graphics driver. That might solve the problem.

    Have you tried adjusting your screen resolution?

    I think I know what's going on, can you attach a screen shot? It sounds like a large fonts issue, or screen resolution.

    I did check for the lastest driver at NVIDIA and have it. I also changed DPI etc with no luck. I appreciate all of the responses. I also read that the D800 has some display issues for some users, but are correctable. I just can't figure this out.

    Thanks,

    If you display is set at a higher than normal font resolution (> 96 dpi), the internet explorer will scale up images accordingly.

    Ah ha. See a picture speaks a 1,000 words. The dialog is using the System font instead of the Tahoma font. Check C:\WINDOWS\Fonts\ for the Tahoma font, it might be missing.

    I appreciate all of the responses and Toyman gave me the info to fix the problem!

    I did have the Tahoma Font in Windows->Fonts

    Went to Display->Properties->Appearance->Advanced

    Under Item box, I scrolled down to menu and selected Tahoma 8 point. Problem immediatly resolved!

    Thanks Toyman and I appreciate all of the responses. I learned a lot in the process concerning many display problems.
