Is there an emulator to run 3.1 on XP?

I found some programs at school that sound like something we would love to use. Before I can actually check them out, I have to have 3.1.

Yes, I realize they are old but the rules for grammer haven't changed :)

    Thanks for the info!

For grins, I have a copy of DOS still unopened sitting on my software shelf

Why not try the XP compatibility wizard (in accessories) and select Windows 95.. that will probably do it...

Virtual PC will definitely do DOS/Win 3.1. But remember, you HAVE to load DOS first, Win 3.1 isn't an OS, just a GUI. Hell, I got an ANCIENT version of already esoteric QNX to load in Virtual PC, in addition to DOS...

Oh, and while the rules of grammar may not have changed, apparently the spelling has... ;)

Go to the Salvation Army/Goodwill and buy an old 486 PC.

I still have a 486 DX/66 on the shelf. PM me if you want it for cheap plus shipping.

I'm pretty sure that I still have a copy of Win 3.11 around (Win 3.1 with networking), probably on 3.5" floppies. I likely also have DOS on floppies (v. 4 to 6).

If you need them, send me an Email via the forum, just put "GT" & some reference to Win 3.x in the Subject so it doesn't get deleted as potential junkmail.
