I can't find any Winchester white box110 grain .357 magnum ammo anywhere! None at Wally world or online. Anybody seen any? I think it is now more scarce than .380 was.

guess it depends on where you are......in mid east Alabama its on the shelf at walmart and academy sports.
Glad to hear its on the shelf in Alabama maybe it will make it here. I just bought a Ruger LCR in .357 and like the white box 110 grain.357 for it.
I haven't looked for it in a while, but it doesn't surprise me.
Walmart hasn't had WWB or any other target 357mag in quite awhile here. ammunitiontogo has Fiocchi 142gr. FMJ for $16.95 a box/50. Shoots pretty clean and kicks a little harder then the WWB.
.357 ammo has always been pretty bleak at Wal-Mart. And when they do have it, it's more expensive than it needs to be IMO.
Yup, full house 357Mags for $3.00 a box all day long.

are you being sarcasic or you can actually reload it for that cheap? $3/50?
what about 9 mm?
thanks in advance
Luckily I caught a box of Blazer 158 grain HP"s for $23.99. I thought that was a good deal on some food for the new SP101 truck gun.
Wally world,Dicks,K Mart all have Federal American Eagle 158 grain JSP but no hollow point. Is Federal just trying to get rid of the JSP that virtually no one except hunters want?

Two excellent questions. The first one is excellent because I am very sarcastic. My answer to the second question will answer both questions.

My $3.00/box is based on me getting free lead. This is an ideal situation, but one that any determined cheap bastard can develope. I count the bullets as free because I don't count my time, since I enjoy the casting. It's like fishing, except I'm guaranteed to get 500 fish in an hour or so.

The brass is free, since it last through many loadings and you can build a big pile of it quiclky if you're dealing with common calibers. Get lucky at the range when four guys show up and shoot two boxes of 40SW each and leave, you've got 400 pieces good for 10 loads each, for free. So your next 4,000 rounds are covered in terms of brass, along with the free bullets.

The only thing you have to pay for is primers and powder. Even if you do a bad job of shopping, you can get 1000 primers and a pound of powder for $50.00. That's easily enough to do 1000 rounds (20 boxes) for $50.00. Call that $2.50 a box.

Don't be intimidatd by high priced progressive machines and internet babble. Get a good book like Hornady, Lyman, Speer, and read through it a few times. Then spend $100.00-$150.00 on a single stage set up that you will use for the rest of your life, and make ammo. Later, if you want to spend $500.00-$1,000.00 on a Dillon or whatever, go for it, you'll stll need your single stage press for other jobs. Buy your bullets at first to simplify things, then earn how to cast after you have some expirience reloading.
