Well, The right hinge is broke. Left is intact. I tried to restart it. No go. But, it felt warm. So I took out the battery and let it set a few minutes. Put the battery in the it fired up;P Holy cow! Although the harddrive is making a very tinny sound. The heads are going, or are gone. I told the kid to get his crap off the PC cuz its gonna die. So, a couple CD's later. its done. Now the boys will have to just use the desktops we have. Oh so sad;e I really don't know why they liked it. Its the slowest piece I have. All other PC's here are current P4's or AMD 64. The lowest Vid card is a 9600xt , then a 9800XT now my machine has a 7800GTOC. It just boggles my mind. HHmmm 16 colors or millions of colors. Kids are funny.

    Right-click the Network Neighborhood icon
Select Properties from the drop down menu
Click the Configuration tab, and select Windows Login from the Primary Login menu
Click OK, then respond NO when Windows 98 prompts you to restart your PC
Click Start, then Settings, then Control Panel
    Double-click the Passwords icon
    Click the User Profiles tab
Select "All users of this computer use the same preferences and desktop settings."
Click the Change Password tab, then the Change Windows Password button. Enter a blank password, then click OK to save your settings and close the dialog box.

The next time you start Windows 98, you won't be prompted for a password.
