I'm interested in getting one with my tax return and the future sale of my SA 1911. I will have enough. How are they anyone know?

I'd sell a SA to buy a Wilson, just not a polymer Wilson.

A polymer 1911 for $1999! I say nay. You can get more gun for the money with another brand...but hey life is short and if that the gun you really want, I support you! Thats part of being American. Freedom of choice.

I've seen a few positive reviews on forums (think the 1911 forum had the most), but generally there hasn't been much.

There is (what seems to be) a nice used one for sale over on SigForum.

If I spend $2,000 on a handgun it better "love me long time!"

Anything made by Wilson Combat is outstanding quality. If you have the money, get one.

I have liked every Wilson I ever shot, but for a polymer 9 I'll stick with Glock and save a couple grand.

Yeah, a polymer Wilson isn't exactly my cup of tea.

I have thought about getting another 1911 in 9mm but not a polymer one (maybe a colt and getting it customized). In other words, there are some great 9mm choices out there and there are some great lightweight alloy frame 1911s out there (some lightweight 9s to boot) without going to the polymer frame.

However, I certainly can't knock the spec-ops until I see one in person and (hopefully) shoot one.
