If you shoot somebody in self defense even the complete loss of a couple grand is likely going to be very low on your list of worries. If civil litigation follows that’s not even going to be a rounding error to what your going to be spending.

It just reminds me of not wanting to drive a nice car because what if you get hit by a train? :dunno:

Neat idea, but 1700 freakin' dollars? I don't think so.
Part of the joy of a 42, or Glocks in general, is the lack of guilt in abusing them. I'd hate to scuff that one.

Do they have a 43 like this? I bet they will. I did buy a Wilson yesterday- a CQB Compact. I have no impressions yet since I have not shot it yet but it fits my hands well and I like the feel of it. Hopefully I can get to the range this weekend.

What else aside from aesthetics are they changing? The 380 is a pretty soft shooting gun to begin with, so IMO the texture is just for looks. Not like you need it. Sights are meh, but to each his own. If they rework the guys to shoot more accurately, reliably... that ads value to me. In all fairness I’ll never stop $1200 on a 380.
