Because they're modifying the most popular manufacturer in carry guns? Broadening the market isn't cheapening the brand.

Defeats the purpose of a Glock. I can shoot the factory version only 8-10 down on a 500 ALETA police academy course 490-500 Expert in time.

That is a very handsome firearm and I bet it shoots terrific but I paid $325 for a slightly used G42 with Talon grips installed. I like it a great deal and do not believe the Wilson model is $800 better.

To me , my TCP is a BUG ...

I see no reason spending that much money for a close up social BUG

its not for everyone tastes just like a$6000 1911 is not to everyones tastes or budgets but its nice to have options...

I don't hate it, I think it is laughable.

I don't think Wilson Combat 1911's are laughable. I think they overvalue their time, but they are no doubt one of the top tier semi custom shops.

Alright. I really liked the looks and thought about it, so I just had a closer look on their website.

Unfortunately, this piece fell though for me when I learned that the price is only for the modifications and not a complete firearm. You will have to send in a G42, and in the end this will be closer to $1,700.

The second let-down seems to be, that no internals will be changed, exchanged or upgraded. They write on the product page that aftermarket triggers can be arranged, but I can't choose any options right there.

I have to agree, at that stage its just a nice looking slide and a stippling job.
