The grip texture is absolutely not necessary, but I know some people like it. Why they would pay Wilson prices for it is beyond me.

I own three Wilson-modded firearms, all of which were worth every penny (two 870's and a Beretta 92SD). That Glock .380 is not one that I would get at that price, but to each his own.
