will X-bows are in with a season for FL

    My state has establish a seperate crossbow season. It's short and even shorter than the already short mzl'er season. I guess noway will be buying a X-bow with in the next month or so ;)



    You can also use X-bows during the general gun season and all general gun rules/reg are in effect.

    I've shot several and still prefer to bow hunt with my compound bow.

    But hey whatever floats your boat.

    I don't understand why some folks get so bent out of shape about crossbows and their legality. We went through it last year here in GA. The diff here is they are legal throughout all of archery season. Some of the folks here think that crossbows are going to kill "their" deer and that they are just a minor step down from shooting a rifle - those that believe this have never shot a crossbow. It is still archery in my book.
