    The answer is yes...
I was shooting up some retired duty ammo, (Remington Golden Saber) in my personal G22 RTF2 when one round failed to cycle the slide and just didn’t sound right. I ejected the brass and what I found was this very swollen 9mm case. Not sure how or when it got mixed into the .40 rounds, but my G22 still ate it. Note to self...double check correct caliber before loading.

And the 22 will shoot a 357 sig round as well.
The 31 will shoot a 9mm round as well.

    Like most 9mm will fire a .380auto.

Depends if the g22 feels threatened for its life or 3rd person.

To add , that 40sw looks a tad bulged too.

Shot a .380 round in my Wife’s G26 one time, same scenario - went bang, no ejection, didn’t sound right.... Again, if there’s more than one caliber on the bench, check them when loading the mags!

Yes that’s normal. Glock unsupported chambers tend to be little loose.

My wife and I were at the range, she was firing her 3 gen G-17, and I my 3 gen G-22, well, she loaded a seventeen round mag of 9mm into my G-22 (I know my fault, they do look alike eh?)
and fired two rounds before I stopped her.

Good to know though, for the Zombie apocalypse, if you run out of .40 and absolutely have to defend yourself.

It surprises me that she was able to fire two rounds. As others have noted in this thread, when it happened to me the gun didn't function properly. I was out with my daughter, she was shooting a G22 and I was shooting the G45. Well she dipped into my ammo can and loaded up a magazine with 9mm. But it didn't function although it did fire the round.

I have made this mistake - once. Shooting a 34 and 35 side by side on the range with both on the bench at the same time. Mistakenly put the 34 mag in the 35 and fired the first shot. Didn't sound or feel right and the case looks like OP's picture - blown out and ruptured. I learned a valuable lesson that day to pay attention to what I'm doing and not mix guns with identical magazines and different calibers on the bench at the same time.

I still have the blown out 9mm case on my desk as a reminder.
