I was looking to order a good gun belt but the Wilderness site seems to be down and has been for several days. Anyone know if this site will be up and running anytime in the near future?

No telling about what their site problem is but I know Midway carries their belts and I believe Brownells does also.

Nope, and I didnt order it from them anyways cause I found the Wilderness for less and with free shipping elsewhere. $37 free shipped. im wearing a 37"(my waist is 33") olive colored one as I write this it was my Christmas present.

This is where I got mine no hassles free shipping $37 for the instructor belt.

They are now up and running now the 5 stitch is no longer a free upgrade so it looks like the post above me is a atually a few dollars cheaper.

That was a holiday special... The 5stitch has always been slightly more.

I just received my order from GMT last week. I ordered in the AM and it was shipped that day in the PM. Very fast. With the free shipping, it beat the upgrade deal offered directly from Wilderness. Again, GMT is GTG!

I've always ordered mine direct from Wilderness.. never a problem. Looks like there's about a $2-$3 difference between GMS and Wilderness, even w/ the free shipping.

Regardless, the only thing I can suggest is staying away from Botach Tactical, if they are still carrying the Wilderness belt. Do a search and you'll find they are pretty much a crap company to deal w/.

Really? I've had very good experience with Botach, and it was my impression that they are generally liked quite well on GT.

LMAO.. I don't know if you're joking, or you're serious. Google will turn up HORDES of complaints on these guys.

BT is absolutely legendary on every gun forum out there for about the worst customer service on the planet. Supposedly they've been making efforts to correct it, but who knows.. The two most recent examples..

Galco also sells exactly the same belt but a little higher in price. My order from The Wilderness arrived last Mon. and Im a happy camper. Uncle Mike also sells an almost the same belt, but cheaper. Galco also has the color khaki aside from coyote tan. I love these belts.

Hmmpf... I'll have to check out those threads. I went to botach because of recommendations here, specifically to buy magazines, which I did. Their prices for Glock magazines beat everyone else... by a fair bit, too. I've made two orders from them, and I got both orders promptly and with zero problems. Go figure.

PS.... Just read both threads. It certainly seems that some people have have problems. And, I don't doubt the veracity of their stories. I guess I got lucky. And, it seems others have had good experiences, too. That leaves me with :dunno:

That's just two threads... I only searched that thread BotachTechnicalSupport or whatever the screen name was, cuz I remembered his screen name. If you actually Google Botach Customer service, or do some more detailed searches, you'll find a lot more info.

Like one of the posters in those threads said, its not a matter of if they will burn you, its when..

I placed two orders with them in the last 3 weeks. I ordered 4 M&P .45 Mags and I ordered 5 Sig 226 Mags. I got what I ordered and everything was good. YMMV. :)
