My wifes grandpa was a Bozeman Mt city cop. The first pic is of a 38-44 heavy duty from 47. The other pic is a Colt 51 passed down through the family.

The HD looks good, fine nickel, but the Herretts kind of distract from what it would be with Magnas.

The Navy looks fine. Patinated but doesn't appear to have ever had a screw turned.

My thoughts exactly on the heavy. I'm going to look for some grips that give it a little more personality.

Very cool gun - the Heavy Duties seem to have appreciated in value alot over the last decade or so.

It would seem that they have. I was quite suprised at the values but they are definately quality handguns. I might try and find a shooter now that I have been introduced to it. With 38 special ammo its like a BB gun when it fires.

You need some Unique and some 158 cast swc's.
