We dress very conservatively for church.
Good God man!
Felt like my heart was being ripped out when I read that.
My sympathy and prayers.
Yeah, sorry about that!
I just started writing and kinda puked it all up.
Amanda was up at 630 am and ran 6 miles on the beach, then rode her bike to yoga class. I was up to 5 am watching shooter on netflix, so when she got back from yoga she got coffee and bagels and a 45 minute massage. So life is good.
Ha, not likely.
She did the dishes after breakfast/lunch, of course, too. Real dishes used for the waffles.
For dinner, she went and got Chinese, but we had to use paper plates for it
I don't kiss and tell, but it was a pretty good night, and morning
I know you are somewhere nearby. Let me know if you want to have lunch or something to make sure you are okay as well.
Any day i have to get up before noon is a bad day
Yeah - but can she wash windows? Mine can't.
Mine gets up at 5 am to go running up the mountain and back (everyday), but when she comes home I don’t get waffles.
She is fit so I guess I get that instead of waffles?!?
Anyone got a wife past "the change" who will only sleep with the bedroom windows wide open and a fan blowing over her?
Mine sleeps with the snow blowing over the bed - telling me that even if the temp is 31F, the calendar says "Summer" and therefor she's too hot to sleep.
Why are wimmen so psycho?
Justifiably.... I sleep in MY OWN room - where it's a habitable 78F. If I want cold, I can sleep in a tree, but as a human who's in charge of my own comfort, I sleep in a HOUSE with a wood stove and windows that actually close... any season of the year.
I have to go 'round all the windows every night and make sure they're closed. Then at 3AM I have to check them again since some "somehow just open all by themselves" is what I get.
In my room I have a TV w/OTA digital receiver, Netflix, WiFi and all my musical gear.
Oh yeah - I have THIS computer that I'm typing on right now - on Linux - what else?
I'm up by 6:00am every day, Might sleep in in the morning as I just got back from a Rock Concert saw Zakk Wilde or Zakk Sabbath as you will.. Can't hear very well & my wife says I'm screaming.. I remember Zakk as a boy who filled in for Jake E. Lee when Brad Gillis left Ozzy back for Night Ranger after Randy Rhoads passed away.. He's 51 now, I'm 53 BTW.. Went with 36 & 27 year old Sons, We ROCKED!!
I usually make breakfast around our house. Wife doesn't eat much which leaves me starving..
I've been married for 36 years..
Those 6-8 Sabbath riffs Zakk played maybe a thousand times I could do in my sleep behind my head & with my teeth too..
Great Gig anyhow.. Up late tonight, It just started pouring rain outside too. So peaceful sounding.. Aahhhhh!!
My wife too is an early riser and out the door for her workout person.
These days it is usually down to the club for an hour and a half in the pool (when we both worked, her routine was up like at 4am so she could get her swim or run in and be back to get ready for work and get our daughter off to school). After we were both retired (me for a second time), she had to quit running as her other aerobic workout option as her hip started bothering her, otherwise it was one day hour and a half in the pool, next day 7 miles running.
She is an early to bed, early to rise person, always has been. I have always been a sleep as needed person, which is a lot less these days than any time in my past, which was always less than most people, I think.
Don’t think I will ever smell the cooking bacon or waffles.
Our breakfasts are so different, I think we made a silent pact long ago that breakfast was always going to be solo events, perhaps the only exception is if we are out together at a restaurant, which happens these days mostly when we are traveling.
It always amazes me how different people’s marriages can be. I know for myself, I almost certainly wouldn’t have lived as long as I have, had I not met my wife.
The Tarahumara Indians are among the greatest endurance athletes in the world.
You and your wife are in my prayers.
