As the title states she gets to choose between 2010 models legacy and fusion. We have been doing lots of reviews etc and are going out today to test drive both vehicles. Initial impressions...seems like a lot of people doubt Ford cars nowadays lol and everyone loves subaru motors and AWD. Going into test drives with an open mind. Feel free to chime in if you have either one of these vehicles or you just wanna brag on one make lol.

If my company offered me a Fusion with free gas I'd still keep driving my Subaru.

If the company's picking up the tab on everything then this is all that really matters.

My brother has a Fusion. Mechanically it has been a good car. But, it is noisey inside and the rear seat was very flat and uncomfortable for adults.

I have lost all faith in Ford I bought a Ranger and discovered the engine is made in Germany and the transmission is made in France.

Looking at a Fusion Hybrid on the showroom floor, 50% is made in Mexico and 25% in Canada with assembly in Hermisillo, Mexico. Using foreign workers to build their cars and/or parts is why Ford refused government money.

My dad has a Fusion and I have a focus. I love them both, The fusion is a quality made vehicle. He has the 08 model but its still really nice. real smooth ride and it does pretty darn good on gas mileage also. he averages about 32 on the highway and about 26 in the city. I know its not great but its better than most other vehicles.

Also I would stay away from the hybrid unless all you do is drive around the city.

he drives almost exclusively on the highway and it would only get him about 4 MPG more if he got that.

In my opinion I would go with ford. yeah alot of it isnt made in the united states but try and find a vehicle that really is.

With the ice/slush, mild/moderate snow and blm roads up here, my in-laws love their AWB Subaru.

I'm surprised to hear this. I thought the STi was a pretty nice car. I just bought a 2010 Impreza, and except for the VERY uncomfortable headrests, I like it so far.

I own the 2009 Mercury version of the Fusion; the Milan. It has been a great car so far at 28k miles w/ no issues and about 34mpg on the hwy.

They had a major cosmetic upgrade in 2010 and are a nice car and are beating the Accord and Camry in terms of reliability.

However, Subaru makes a good car as well and I have been pretty impressed with the latest Legacy designs...

I think the Fusion is a little better looking, though...
