I know all the women will get mad at me for this thread but my wife called me this morning. "I got into an accident. I backed into a rock". I asked how big such rock was and I guess it was big enough to bash in my bumper and tailgate on my Honda Element. Arggggg. Time to get her old Sebring convertible fixed at least that will be cheaper when it happens again.

No she did not get the insurance information from the rock.

Not even 6 months after I got my car...my wife parked on a rock.

It was only 6-8 inches tall so she only scratched up the under body but it was still funny that it happened so early into owning it.

Probably the same way my wife backed into the four foot tall 4x4 post that protects and supports our water bib that is 6 feet off the driveway.
I came home and it was leaning 45˚. At least she didn't snap the pipe (I used soft copper (planned ahead for it))

$2500 repair. Use your collision coverage and get it fixed properly...

I bought my wife an SUV with a rear view backup camera. She still managed to back over the trashcan. :)

Years ago my wife backed our new car (Less then 2000 miles) into my freshly painted truck (Painted less than 1 week) while in our own driveway. Caused $3000 worth of damage.

Then she blamed it on me because, "You shouldn't have parked the truck there". It was parked in my driveway, where the hell else am I going to park.

    No wonder I'm divorced.

I have found that women CAN drive as long as the car is NOT in REVERSE.

We are missing the bigger picture here...

What kind of man drives a Honda Element and admits it?

    Man Card Revoked

That is what you have insurance for.

My wife backed over my car two times.:wow: Of course it was my fault both times. I shouldn't have parked mine so close.
No, she can't back a car, but she has too many other great traits to let her go over a dented fender. Besides, she keeps me on my toes.

In defense of the OP, you CAN hose out the Elements because they have rubber flooring. That's kinda manly. No, I don't drive one.

I had my car for less than a year when my wife had the first accident with it.

We were renting a cabin on the lake, and my wife and the sis-in-law decide that they need to go shopping. I give my wife the car keys. BIL and I are in the cabin playing games with the kids. All is good.

She backed into the cabin. :wow:

Cabin shook, freaking out the kids. They are screaming bloody murder. (They were really young, I guess they though it was a lot worse than it really was.) I run outside to make sure my wife and SIL were OK. They were fine. I then look at the dented bumper of my car. The cabin only lost some paint... I was a bit miffed that in a cabin vs. bumper fight, my bumper would loose. :steamed:

I have no clue why she backed up. All she had to do was pull forward and she would be on the road. Apparently, it was obvious to her as to why she backed up, but I never made heads nor tails of it. Of course, according to her it was all my fault. :dunno:
