I have seen this mentioned on both this forum and other forums that were promoting different brand pistols. Its always said," I'm going over to the "dark side" when I buy a Glock. Darn, when I bought my first Glock (a G22), I was happy as a lark and get happier every time I shoot it. I don't feel dark!

    Dave

Until recently when color options were added, Glocks have always been black/dark gray and more non-reflective than most other blue/black guns. I assume this is where the saying originates.
