Why is Glock on top when comes to the most Simple & Efficient Design:
That answers most of your questions right there.

My favorite aspect of owning a Glock is if any part in that gun goes bad I can replace it. For most problems any person with a general knowledge of firearms and some mechanical ability can repair their Glock, and not have to send it off to a gunsmith or the factory.

Why is Glock a household name: Because people watch TV and listen to RAP music.

Why is Glock the best in most categories:The best at what?

Why do other Companies try to copy Glocks Design:Just because they're polymer, doesn't mean their a copy.

Why did Glock pass the most toughest "Torture Test" with ease: Very few moving parts to jam up

Why is Glock on top when comes to the most Simple & Efficient Design: Because it was designed that way

Why do Glock sell so many Pistols: Because they're cheap

Why do so many LEO carry the Glock: Because they're the lowest bidder, therefore the departments buy them.

Why is Glock your Go-To Gun over other Brands in your own Home: I'd rather break a 400 dollar pistol than a 1000 dollar 1911, and it's lighter.

Why is so Dependable: Few moving parts to jam up. Easy to repair.

Why does Glock go Bang when you want it to: See above.

Why is Glock the "Perfect Tool": It isn't. Sometimes it suits one job better than another.

Why do most people must own more than one Glock: Because they're cheap.

Why when your at the Range stare at your Glock: Huh?

x2. I keep my GLOCK in my drawer, and all others in the safe. I'm not out a ton of money if the 23 gets yanked. I'll wear the 23 more often than the others, cause it's lighter, and has higher capacity than my 1911, but I'm just as accurate with both. However, I'm more likely to show off my 1911 than my 23.:embarassed:

Easier to learn to shoot well than other designs, thanks to nice trigger, clean sights, absence of safety switches.

The trigger is the heart of it, for me. Only 1911's have a better pull, and their safeties and reliability present problems.

Ya--been reading on several boards recently that Glocks were cheap to buy----sorry $500 is still a lot of money in my book.

Would be a devastating loss if it were stolen.

Now an old SKS--Mosin or beat up 870 would be an easier loss to swallow than losing a Glock.

While having anything stolen from you is devastating, would you prefer the 4-500 dollar GLOCK, or a $2500 Les Baer?

Some things can be replaced, easily, but custom firearms are hard.

It kills me when someone touts how more cops carry Glocks than any other.

It's not because they are the best, it's because they are the lowest bidder and many times offer free replacements. They can do that because Glocks are so cheap to make.

Sure, they are reliable but then so are SIG's and Beretta's.

All I know is my Glock's keep going bang. They are easy to clean and take apart. Replacement parts are plentiful and reasonable. It looks cool, to me and it's light which makes it easy to carry.

I agree that most police dept probably like the reasonable cost associated with Glocks and low maintenance and interchangeability of parts. Officers probably appreciate the light weight for everyday carry.

"Hey Skippie" , no I mean "Sigpro-fessor", no mean "Nikon777", who ever you are, I'm taking way better Meds from the VA ....now, since you've done absolutely nothing in your life, you don't even make the Pecking Order List.
Wow, I'd like to see proof of this. I mean, since you wouldn't say he's done nothing in his life if you couldn't back it up.
