I wonder if individual Wal Marts are reflections of where they are located.
I can't imagine myself, or the other people around here, putting up with any of the crap that's posted about WM on GT and other Web Sites.

Personally, I'd give the store manager Hell, and if that did not do any good, I'd find out where the the local WM management office is.

I heard that one of the WM family, a Woman, lives around here and she runs "a tight ship".

    :)
All this talk about Wal Mart, when actually WM, on my scale of important things, is down about place 1005.

I have never liked Walmart. I just like them a little less now.

Yes, the last time I checked, Austria doesn't have any forced joint ventures, forced technology transfers, outright theft of intellectual property, networking products companies that have embedded chips in each system that spies on its users and reports back to the PRC, an army of geeks hacking every system in the non-PRC areas stealing everything they can, etc. etc. etc.

    Sounds great, but...
After 10 years of manufacturing my FAS1 handgun safes I believe for the most part this is accurate.

Your right, talking is different than doing. It takes an effort and commitment. I also believe generally you get what you pay for in products. I've been holding off on a gun safe purchase to buy American and get a quality product. Especially in what usually is a once in a lifetime purchase.
I realize alot of people who may not like China made don't follow through as much as I do. It may cost more but I feel better investing in the USA and getting a good product. Also some companies need to up quality and reliability like in the auto industries, so a person making a big investment isn't purchasing a piece of crap

That is like blaming polititians for messing up the country.

As a whole we vote with our dollars for the products we deserve.

We have a Walmart in Beech Grove that was declared a public nuisance by the city. You may have seen some video on YouTube .

No, Sam just was willing to go the extra mile to assure his customers were getting the best value possible. That is just what he did.

It's not so much that Walmart cut back on the ammo & guns they sell.

It's the way they did it.

With the CEO making a big show as to how this is going to help stop mass/spree killers because Walmart is going to stop selling deadly ammo/guns and only carry safe hunting and target ammo/guns. After all, .223s are deadly but 12ga and .308 are safe.

It was a 100% idiotic, uninformed statement that showed ZERO knowledege about firearms and ammo. But sounds good on MSNBC.

And when someone uses a Henry lever action .22 mag to shoot up a school, then the same groups who's asses he kissed will demand that Walmart stop selling thos high capacity automatic lever rifles.

Walmart is just another store to me. If they sell something I need at a good price, I will buy it. No store has the best price on everything. I respect other folks opinion. I don't tell them where to shop, and I don't take their advice on where I will shop. End of story.
