Isn’t the disappearance of that 17 cent 9mm and other handgun Ammo the whole pint of this thread?

And yes I still shop at Walmart due to lack of options in this rural area...

Not to me. It is the partnership between Walmart and Bloomberg in an anti-gun scheme.

    Nonsense.

Roughly 4% of Walmart’s revenue comes from EBT. Of that, almost all of it is their lowest margin products.

Scale back? Close? Yeah, right. It would be a rounding error on the bottom line if 100% of their EBT revenue went away.

I do disagree with respect the area where I live people stay away from food stores till about the 2nd week of each month because ebt'ers empty the she!ves , this also accounts for the high prices because the free loaders dont care they dont earn their food anyway all good suppliers now have a guaranteed income the poor bastards working in the private sector have no choice but pay the greedy SOBs prices , we need to go back to government cheese and the occasional box of crackers , you can bet that would !ower prices plus make Government employees a minimum wage Job
The truth about a great economy would show its self !

I'm getting my preferred 9mm ammo online for 16.5 CPR with free shipping and no sales tax.

None of that has anything to do with Walmart and none of the retailers you cited have a meaningful profit incentive in the SNAP/EBT game.

I think it is fine to be be anti-big government. Blaming the various retailers is ridiculous.

I always come away from a Wal Mart shopping experience feeling a bit smarter than average, so it's a positive experience.:devildance:

I'm not blaming them although I'm sure the profits from government programs are greatly appreciated and your right a huge extremely unconstitutional Government is to blame !

Well, I'm not much of a shopper so I very rarely go to Walmart. I have a very good locally owned grocery store that beats their price on food everyday. As a matter of fact they ran out all the other national brand competition years ago. I do and will continue to get a few things at Sams Club.

It's disappointing to see Walmart's Anti 2A stance with their involvement with Bloomberg. I don't like spending my money at places that take that money and use it to infringe on my rights, but it's also unrealistic to avoid that 100%. As long as there are local and online alternatives I will do my best to support those companies more.

Oh dear.... we are BAD, you and I.
I truly DID THAT once, in the fabric/sewing department. I didn't ask for a manager, however. I pushed something on the phone that announced to the entire store: "A Customer needs sale assistance in Fabrics, please. A Customer needs....."
And, you are right. It does indeed work like a charm :)
