Hey guys, sorry for the excessive questions, but as soon as something pops in my head, im come right to GT.

Anyway, why hasnt Glock produced an OD green Glock 21SF? Do we know if they will, or is Duracoat the only option?

I suspect the SF and RTF models were merely to test the waters for what features they thought would be good in the Gen 4s. Hopefully the Gen 4s will come in OD green, but we have yet to see if they will. The next Glock I buy will be OD in case they decide not to make them anymore.

    I agree.

After Glock released the SF, there were compliants that they should have gone with an interchangable backstrap instead of just shortening the grip frame.

After Glock released the RTF2, there were compliants that the texture was too abbrasive.

End result, the Gen4 Glocks have interchangable backstraps and the RTF3 texture.

Or a single stack in .40, 10mm, .357 Sig, or even a full size .45 with a single stack magazine.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see a single stack .45 of the midsize variety...i.e. glock 19 size :)

I believe that's the reason Glock made the 45 GAP. You can't have a gun the size of a G19 chambered for 45 ACP. The cartridges are too big to fit in a gun that size.

i dont know what all the fuss is about the 10mm...someone will have to explain. To me, it doesnt seem like a reasonable option...its a rare round is it not?

Or maybe a Full size single stack .45 with a grip safety, and thumb safety lever, made of steel instead of polymer, a 5 inch barrel, some plastic or wood screw-on grip panels...wait....this is sounding too familiar.

    Oh yeah......it NOT A GLOCK....its a Colt 1911. :winkie:

Gibson didn't get famous selling copies of Fender Guitars, and Mercedes isn't famous for selling copies of Ford trucks guys. A GLOCK is what it is.

I notice that every year the GLOCK ANNUAL magazine comes out, it is filled with more and more articles about which police agency and which military is adopting which GLOCK. There are practically no "real" articles in this issue. GLOCK is listening to what law enforcement and militaries are asking for, and I don't think many of them are begging for lower capacity guns. I wouldn't hold my breath for one.

What's the fascination of an OD gun frame and a black slide. What's the point?
