Why can't Wilson do round butts like this?

As much as I like Wilson Combat, I just wish they could round there mainspring like Nighthawk and many of the other semi- custom makers. Here in NHC. It just looks to be blended in much better. I believe Guncrafter looks very similar. Here are a couple of pics of a NHC Talon with rounded butt. View attachment 231681

maybe, Wilson doesn't do it thinking there is not enough metal around the main spring housing pin, I personally don't like it on full size frames, rather have it bob tailed.

I'm more curious as to why Ford can't put AMG engines in all of their cars. I mean, Mercedes is doing it.

Wilson does do round butting. They even sell round butt mainspring housings if you want to round butt your gun. Pics are on their website. They also will do Ed Brown bobtails.

Actually looking at it a bit more, the NightHawk looks like it was just
put on a belt sanded. Does not appear to be blended very well

Thanks, I know they do. It's just that IMHO, Nighthawk does a better job of "rounding" it. Wilson seems to have a bit more angular of a cut.

Yes, Chuck Rogers rounding is "perfect".

I see what you mean about Wilson. NightHawk does look a bit
more rounded. Every manufacturer and shop has their own way of doing things.

Take a look at this link, I did a round butt on my Loaded, then bobtailed it.

Here's the end result....Joe Chambers did a bit of work on it and
    refinished in a matte blue

Actually, my Wilson compact CQB does have a rounded butt.

Maybe they just do it on smaller guns.
