No more than 3 words per statement. Why choose a Glock over the competitors?

I meant just better than like-modeled guns by other manufacturers. Is there any real reason why it tops the list?

*prolly a dumb thread, if so sorry- my buddy just has a Walther and they seem pretty nice as well

No.No real reason. And what list ? Glocktalk's list ?
Glock as any other gun is a tool, it's not the weapon.
Different tools for different jobs, yes, Glocks are durable guns and shoot well, are they on the top of the list ? It depends for what you are using it...IMHO, but of course I could be wrong.

I don't think they *are* "the best".

I have 4, and love them to death. And I will own more.

They're not the most accurate, that's for sure.

Reliable and dependable for the pricepoint, that's why I got mine. Also, very easy to do your own work on.

I love my Glocks, but certainly don't think they are the best.
