Great to see all the fellow Garand-aholics here! Hence my screen name. Never been to the "big show" but compete with the local CMP group. Camp Perry is on my retirement bucket list.

Have you guys heard the legislation change in the works to allow the CMP to sell the military's old 1911s? That'd be outstanding if it can happen. The Senators of the state have folded it into some other legislation.

I would love to have the 1911's go to the CMP.
I'd be all over those. It's been said that the CMP already has them at Anniston, but that could be bologna.

Wow, do you recall where you heard that? Some trial on what it takes to refurb them, get ready for sale? The mind is racing a bit.
