I stumbled upon this image. Looks pretty real, but may not be. Pretty sure the munition is a GBU-12 Paveway II: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GBU-12_Paveway_II

May be real, may be fake. Made my jaw drop either way when I saw it though. Opinions welcome.

Also, my first time linking from photobucket. Let me know if there are issues.

    Depth of field is deceiving.

the air behind the object is uninterrupted, would there not be at least some sort of visible trail?

The scale looks all wrong. That freakin' bomb looks to be as large as some of the buildings.

Looked at it close with photoshop. as far as pixalation and all goes it looks legit. As far is scale, it looks close to them (people) and the building are further back. But if a bomb went off that close to a group of people would the camera survive?

I would think that something like that would be too fast to react to, let alone take pictures of the reaction.

$5 says someone edited out a soccer ball.

Brazil shirt gives away there is at least one soccer fan in the crowd.

Those bombs are moving awfully fast to react to. One guy seems to be looking right at it. From all the vids I have seen of bombs falling, they seem to just flash by before they hit their target. No way someone gets into full stride with 1/2 a second notice.

The bomb/missile shouldn't appear that sharp, it should be moving faster than the shutter can freeze.

Acceleration of something due to gravity is 32 feet per second per second. So, that bomb would be going much faster than the eye would notice...unless dropped from low enough to catch the airplane in its blast radius.

Come on, doesn't anybody recognize a lawn dart when they see one? They don't move all that fast.

Left foot on the lead kid is slightly blurred. If the shutter was slow enough to allow for his foot to slightly blur from motion, that doohicky in the sky (were it real) would be invisible at that speed.

-Wouldn't hurt if the photographer would clean his sensor now and then either....or at least clean up the dust spots after the fact.

Yea, it's about to hit the building, so it's gotta be right over it....so it's about three stories tall?

    Fake.
