Hickok45 is very entertaining to me. And he loves GLocks very much. Heck, he loves all guns very much. Do any of you watch him on youtube ?

Been watching him for almost 10 years. Kind of boring now, not a lot of new and interesting things lately.

I do for free entertainment. He’s no authority on guns by any means, more like a hack honestly.

That said, he shoots well, has a great range, and seems like a very good natured guy.

His neighbors must tolerate the range very well....

I’ve been a fan since about 2010, though sometime the revolving door of ARs, 1911s, etc gets a bit redundant.

I watched his P365 video earlier, but that's the first vid I've watched from him in a while. I feel the same as you do.

I don't support him because of his weak position on gun rights and his support of the NRA. Of course now he gets paid by the NRA, gross. I'm an NRA life member, btw. Now I send my money to real gun rights organizations.

I used to Hickok45 quite often but haven't in quite a while. I really like his casual personality and presentation.

I enjoy him and watch a lot of his stuff, especially during the winter. He can sure shoot and does so in a self depreciating manner.
But I always wonder how many hornets he must have around the place shooting all those soda jugs and when the state of Tennessee is gonna'make him do a major lead abatement project in his hill....and like @shadowgunner9 said, how his neighbors put up with the constant shooting he must do.

The quality dropped off the map with that show.

600 years from now someone will dig up around the hill and think a major battle happened there.

He’s kinda like Nutnfancy to me. Mildly entertaining, interesting reviews, but WAY too longwinded. I’m not watching 30-45 minute YouTube videos, just can’t do it.

    Welcome to the forum :D

I'm not much into the vast majority of firearm video presentations, especially the ones with 3 minute intros consisiting of loud death metal music, animations and sound clips of machinegun fire, bullet holes emerging, and empty brass hitting concrete floors from a height of six feet followed by bald headed operator wannabe guys wearing $200+ Gargoyles and tight black t-shirts shown from every angle going from resting/praying to action poses through numerous high speed low drag mag changes as they fire 200 rounds into targets that aren't shown.

On occasion I watch and enjoy Hickok45's videos; there's no big fancy introductions, he uses the same simple presentation format, he's easily understood and has a gentle tone about himself, admits when he's not sure about something, throws in some humor at times, the filming is consistant and clear as is the audio, if applicable he gives the histories of the firearms he's presenting, he often uses other comparable firearms to show their relative size and weight differences or similarities, he gives accolades when they're due, and he doesn't pull any punches when stuff goes wrong.

I think he's an all around good egg and I appreciate his unbiased opinions and the "regular guy" aura that he projects.

I used to and kind of fell off. I really like the show. Thanks to the OP for the reminder and to the treadmill guy. I'll sure watch him vs. Lou Dobbs while working out. I watch Fox, but I'm through with Lou.

If I'm thinking about a new gun and he has a 'review' I'll watch it because it's fun to watch him enjoy shooting.

I put 'review' in quotes because he almost never has anything critical to say about a gun, which is ok because I enjoy his enthusiasm most of all.

But I don't watch all his videos like I do with, say, Paul Harrell
