here here, right from packaging into the washer.

I only do it because it can get a bit itchy, and you get those lints in unpleasant places.

Most garment products that come from overseas may have pestacides sprayed on them to keep bugs from getting through alive.

Walmart clothes can indeed be toxic and cause a rash. I bought a Speed Racer shirt for my son and he wore it without washing it first. Holly Moley, he looked like a giant respberry!

I've put on new clothes just purchased, while driving to the event that required me to buy the item. No pre wash here. I like wearing things fully bright and new.

Yeah I always wash my clothes before I wear them or I'll be all itchy and have a rash or something of that sort. I just figured they starched them or something because starch does the same thing.

I was everything new except socks. And i've been doing my own laundry since I was 13 or so when my mom was sick of picking my stuff up. She dragged me down to the basement and says this is how you do it.

EVERYTHING new gets washed before wearing.

    Underwear, socks... even t-shirts.

99% of all new clothes in my house get a wash first thing - unless it was bought on the way to something, a la LGD
