    Greetings all.

Just took a look at Federal and Speer website. See that Federal has 45 GAP listed as “discontinued” and could not find listing on Speer. Been awhile since I have done this, and sure one of you BD’s could tell us who still makes cartridges for one of my favorite caliber Glocks. “One?” Actually all in with 37, 38 and 39. Thanks in advance for your knowledge and posting.

Hopefully it is still around. I have one gun in it.

I buy Gap ammo from Target Sports. My last purchase was Speer Lawman 200gr. @ $12.99 per 50rds. plus shipping.

Appreciate all of the responses. Looks like there are distributors out there that have plenty of ammo that is no longer produced by the manufacturer’s.

I find aspects of reloading fascinating, have assisted friends who reload, but it’s just not for me. Just too busy with?...Life. We all choose where to spend our time, eh? And with pretty bad tinnitus - primarily from gunfire (even with plugs and muffs, just sensitive to environmental hearing alteration) - I don’t shoot enough to justify the activity. And I might be tempted to create “special rounds” with say, miniature atomic warheads. Have a great week, everyone.

Remington UMC and S&B still make it.

Last time I checked, target sports had range and SD ammo for the GAP. Buy from them regularly.

I have 10 gallons of 45 GAP brass and a Lee Pro 1000 set up to load it. My problem is I never get to stockpile it because I shoot it all. I too use target sports and bought a case of the lawman in 200 gr and have 2 cases of 200 grn Speer GDHP. I only reload plated HP bullets, mostly to have a longer shaft on the bullet but also in case its all I can get.

I'd love to hear how this ammo shoots. UPDATE: I just ordered some. Great price for 500rds.

Any updates on this ammo? Thinking of ordering some since it’s cheaper than the lawman I have now.

My LGS has 50rd boxes for 14.99 of the 185 and 200gr Lawman, and occasionally sells the 250rd 185gr HP for 79.99. The nickel cases are what they are but for SD ammo it’s a great practice and carry. They are running low though and I know it will be gone someday as GSP no longer uses 45 GAP.

The last order online I did was through TargetSportsUSA for 1000 rounds. Shot all those in the Glock Operators Course but the instructor let me pick up my brass. Thank the lord. The shipping isn’t bad on the 50rd boxes and at 13.99 it’s the lowest price around.

I haven’t tried LaxAmmo but since I saw it here I have placed an order for 500 and will give it a shot, if nothing else it’s worth having 500 more pieces of “nickel-plated” brass in circulation.

Keep ALL your spent brass. Some day you may change your mind. If you have the brass already, you’re well on your way!

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve always kept my brass. Even if just to give to my best friend. Who reloads. He probably owes me some GAP reloads. .
