My wife bought me a Griptilian last month for my birthday. Now I'm a lefty so I want to switch the clip to the other side. Only problem is Benchmade uses these teeny tiny star wrench screws to attach their clips...and NO ONE has wrenches that small around here.
I've checked Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Sears, etc...no luck.
So where do I find one small enough for these damn screws!?!
They use Torx fasteners. I got a little kit with a variety of torx bit sizes and one driver in a carry package. I'm not seeing that kit on the website right now, let me look a little more.

Yes. In fact, I bought mine specifically to tighten the Torx screws on my Benchmade knives. Mine is small, with the bits stored in the handle. Has four double-ended drivers that fit in the end of it. Here's a link:

Benchmade makes a little kit that has the torx sizes they use. I got mine at my local Benchmade dealer. I can't remember how much it was, but don't think it was more than $10.
I needed the bit to fit the clip on a Kershaw Leek. I was going nuts trying to find one small enough to fit. All the ones in the hardware stores started in a bigger size than what I needed.
The Benchmade kit is so handy, I keep it in my truck console (because somebody at work is always needing to do something to a knife)
I just looked on ebay (Benchmade Tool Kit). The "buy it now" prices start at about $10.95 (+ $3.95 sh), but I think I paid less than that at Whittaker's in Kentucky.
I bought one of these sets from Home Depot on sale for $5 during the holidays. It has the correct size Torx bit for my CRKT, and probably has one for the Benchmade as well.
I had the same problem. Found one at Home Depot made by General. It came with a ton of bits and a zipper case for about $15 give or take. Worked on my Grip perfectly.
Don't know if you've rectified this yet or not. But I'd get ahold of Benchmade. I have had CRKT and Kershaw both send me free wrenches and screws for their knives. I would think that as good as BM is supposed to be that they would do the same......

Benchmade has a new tool out now, not the Blue box set. It is pretty cool, it has a knife sharpener on it and several bits. It even has a round file for serrated edges, it opens up like one of those Allen folding wrench tools.
the kit is like 10 bucks from benchmade, or a good knife dealer TT
