I've seen some very good stripling done. I would be afraid of ruining the grip.
I like it naked.
I run my 29sf 10mm naked I like stippling for the grip but just ruins it otherwise in MY opinion unless you can find someone that can do a flawless job unique to its self. Everyone just hates on glock grip, but I have no problem with it. Haven't tried any Hogue grips ive heard nothing but good things from them, but again in MY opinion it just ruins the look. I'm just big with aesthetic look and functionality period.
Sweat, too, which is why I never go around naked. Granulate on all my grip pressure points.
I don't run naked. But my women do
When I had a Gen2 G17, I used a Hogue sleeve and was very happy with it. Now, I use nothing with what I have because of the improved texture.
I love stipling, it give your pistol great grip, it's really not hard to master , I really don't plan on ever selling my hand guns so I'm not worried about what someone else might think of my handguns it just has to feel good , my boy put a inner tube on his and liked it , now he has stipled his and likes it , and has stipled just about every deputy that he works withs , handguns . Good luck to all that try's different things, it's a personal thing
Gen 3 grips are good out of the box for me- finger grooves and all.
Yep. Gen 3 and all other polymer frame pistols get Talons.
Gen 4's stay naked.
