    Great gun!
These are the best made... It's been all downhill for Sig since.
Be sure to double-check the trigger reset spring on these West German models, they tend to wear more over the modified later versions.

I always wanted one, wish I could afford one. There's just something about a metal frame handgun that I like....

To me that’s the real P226. The rest don’t count.

I don’t think they’re priced too high, without the box I got this one for $510.

Sweet. Last time I saw one NIB they were about a grand. I probably could have afforded it then but it wasn't a priority. Now even $500 is out of bounds. Termite damage. Plumbing and electrical issues. Maybe in four or five years, but not now....

Yes, I’ve got a bunch of WG Sigs. The P226 is among them.

So Brian would this be thought of as a 9mm magnum?

I had one and it shot well, great trigger. Friend of mine bugged me to sell it to him for a few months. I threw an off the wall crazy numer at him and to my surprise he got the cash.

If I came across another one for about the same price I paid for mine Is be tempted, bit I seriously doubt that will ever happen again.

No desire for the newer ones.
