We eat rice with a meal about twice a week in our house. We both love it. As far as the article is concerned, this month it's bad, next month they will say it's great. Same with everything else we consume. You just can't win....

since it is a cereal, try it as a breakfast cereal.

to a bowl of hot rice, add cinnamon, sugar, and milk. yum.

I like rice yes. I can eat pretty much any of it. I have yet to any rice dishes that I do not like.

Those little Tai Pei "Combination Fried Rice" things are like crack.

I like it. Eat it frequently, 6-12 meals a week.

All the time. Boil it on the stove top with garlic cloves and Louisiana Hot Sauce thrown in the water. Also, IMHO, rice goes with every meat you can cook on the BBQ grill.

    Oh hell yeah!

I eat yellow rice and black beans at least twice a week. Easy to do living in Tampa, where good Cuban food is everywhere.

I made some Jasmine rice the other day that was really delicious. I usually make a double recipe, eat half with the meal, and half as a base for something the next day. But it was so delicious I ended up finishing the meal, then eating the rest of the rice plain, in a bowl. So much better than standard long-grain enriched rice.

I also love wild rice, but not often. Brown rice is nasty (probably because it's good for me...)

I used to avoid rice due to the carbs. Now I'm on my plant-based diet so I eat tons of steamed rice. I'm actually looking to buy a decent rice cooker soon. My crappy old $8 walmart model isn't cutting it anymore.

I have a rice cooker here in the 14th state. I get CA rice from a local Asian food store.

I eat brown rice on average 1 to 2 times per day. The reason for the arsenic levels in rice come from the water that it is grown in. There are small levels of arsenic in water. To me it is to be expected and is no more of a risk than the mercury in tuna.

Every rice cooker I've ever had always burned up. (Burning rice will stink up a kitchen/house for a month!) I went back to the tried and true stove top method.

Those of us living below the South-North Carolina border are legally entitled to break the arm of anyone lifting the lid off of stove top rice that's been covered for less than 20 minutes. Yeah, rice is important.

I've got rice cookers that have been used all day every day for decades... there are good ones out there.

so if there is arsenic in the water that is making the rice dangerous....are the people in those states supposed to stop drinking the water? I'm not buying this latest "study".
