I was looking online for a 50mm f/1.8 lens and found their site. I understand that some online retailers make the sale a PITA.

Has anyone bought from them and how was their experience? Hassle free?

Sorry, never heard of them. My go-to places are Adorama, B&H, and Beach Camera (also BuyDig, which is their sister store) because they have always given me good service.

My normal place is B&H, but I have bought from Adorama in the past as well.

In case you aren't subscribed to the thread where you asked "what" you'd do with the 50 I was asking about, BH photo is now pricing the 50 at 69.99 and your blue stripe photo is currently 74. That 69 price is for a USA original lens as well, the import is priced at 64.99.

I am with Fred and hwy.

I have also bought from Wolf (Ritz) Camera. They had a bag I wanted. They still should be doing the $20 off a $50 purchase using Google Checkout. They were slow to ship but I wasn't in a big rush for a bag.

B&H has always shipped my orders in 24 hours or less.

Blue Stripe Photo has mixed reviews on Reseller Ratings.
Based on that I would stick with B&H.
