......and what is your round count?
As an instructor for a Police Science program (firearms), our oldest Glocks are a few Gen 2 17s (6 or 7). I don't make a point of keeping track of round count as they are rotated with many others that are newer. They were purchased new so I'd say each has around 50k
I have a G17; Gen2: born 8/93. Less than 1000 rounds
I shoot my G1 17 in all my matches, I bought it to use! I got it in the mid 80's. My most accurate of all. Round count a bunch!
I love the non drop free mags carrying working in the pasture, same for my 19 but it is an very early G2 round count a bunch also.
I just acquired a 1988 gen 2 G19. Doesn’t look to have been shot much. My round count with it...0.
Gen2 17 might be my most accurate Glock I own
I have a Gen2 Glock 19 with an HR Pre-fix from November of 89'. I've owned it since January of 90' and carried it as a Duty Gun until my Department transitioned to the Glock 23/22 in May of 93'. Mrs Mtnfolk75 then carried as her Duty Gun until she resigned in early 99'. It has a Glock replacement barrel due to a Squib in about 95', I'm guessing it is north of 30k and it is still being shot & used as a truck gun.
Over 270,000 rounds thru my oldest 2 pin G17
I regularly carry my Gen2 19 (1989 EG prefix). I’d approximate slightly north of 5k rounds though it.
Gen 2 Glock 17 circa 1993. Don't know exactly how many rounds I've put through it since new, but not a lot. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 900-1000.
I picked up a Jan 1989 police trade-in Gen1 a couple years ago that I shoot every so often. No idea the round count but love shooting it.
My carry gun is a Gen 1 G17 with an AK prefix. Born 2/86 and had a birthday last month.
About 3.2 billion rounds or so.
Late bloomer to Glock so my G19 Gen 3 is only three years old and 2150 rounds down range.
If that AK s/n has a pencil barrel in it I might actually suggest it’s a gun to consider doing something else with. Gen1 w/ pencil barrels have been selling for stupid amounts of money recently. Enough that I took them off my “like to own” list. I don’t remember when they switched the barrels but it was somewhere mid Ax range.
ZC prefix G-17 gen 2 and GS prefix G-19 not the oldest but my regularly used oldest,
My oldest Glock is unused a gen 2 BX prefix G-19.
Gen2 G23. 35,250 through it. Shoot it at least twice a month.
I have a CFW prefix g21 that i’ve shot perhaps a 1000 rds thru. It was a police trade in so i have no idea of it’s actual round count.
She shoots to well to be a safe queen. BTW I still have the black internals in the original tupperware.
Actually my oldest Glock is this 1992 G19, abut 25,000 rounds, but after the car fire, it just sits in the safe.....
For being in a fire, it seems to be in pretty good shape.
