If I had a vintage 1911, I would shoot a reduced ball load, something like 230gr @ 800fps. For me that is about 4.2gr of WST.

Pretty much any of the faster flake powders loaded under a 200gr - 230gr slug, to the desired velocity (say 750-800 fps) will work well in your 1911.

5.0 grains of Bullseye under a plated X-Treme 230 grain RN. Standard primers.

I have some powderpuff loads with 185 LSWC or 200 LSWC over light charges of Bullseye but those do not do well in unaltered war horses.
