I have a G34 with the M6, which I bought in Oct 2004, and it is working flawlessly. The light and laser has been tested in IDPA club match stages at ranges out to 75 feet. The light lit up the targets fully and the red dot from the laser is easily seen on the targets. Every night, I check that the light and laser are functioning before going to bed because this is my nightstand gun. Both light and laser have always come on. Also, I'm still on the original batteries that came with it but I'll be replacing them soon because I noticed the light is a little dimmer. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the M6.
